Native American Contemporary Art Exhibit

The traditional artwork of the native people of the American Southwest has long since been of interest in to art patrons.

The Native American Contemporary Art Exhibit at the Coconino Center for the Arts will exhibit both traditional work as well as contemporary fine art. Many Navajo, Hopi and other four corners region artists continue to convey ideas similar to those in the work of their ancestors, often drawing inspiration from the southwest landscape or current topics, while using contemporary media to do so. This exhibition features paintings in addition to traditional media associated with Native American arts. More information.

Concerts at the Center

In the finest listening room in Northern Arizona, we host high quality concerts throughout the year. In June, we host legendary finger-pickin-style guitairist, Doyle Dykes, and indie-folk-rock phenoms, Po' Girl.

We also partner with the Arboretum at Flagstaff to showcase four unique acts in the gorgeous outdoor setting at the Arboretum. With a stage set against a picturesque view of the San Francisco Peaks, four bands perform on four summer nights under the pines. The Arboretum's Summer Concert Series is the perfect summer escape!
