Dry Branch Fire Squad
with special guests, The Mars Hillbillies
Special Valentine's Day Show
Thursday, February 14, 2008 - 7:00 P.M.
Coconino Center for the Arts

Dry Branch Fire Squad plays aggressively traditional bluegrass music. Started in 1976, they are renowned for their spry mix of front-porch standards, modern ballads, and the old-time sounds from which bluegrass first sprang. DBFS has also developed popularity for the fun nature of founder Ron Thomason's biting satire and wry political commentary. Bring your partner for night of great music and laughs at this special Valentine's Day concert.
The evening begins with a Wine & Chocolate Tasting Reception at 6:30 P.M. There is no additional charge for ticket-holders to attend the Reception - tastings will be provided at no charge. Full glasses and premium chocolates will be available for sale. Uncle Buzz Chocolates and the Wine Loft are sponsoring and providing the goodies for the Reception.
"There is no band in bluegrass or country music today that captures the soul of American music better than the Fire Squad." Keith Lawrence, Knight-Ridder Newspapers.
For more than a quarter of a century they've been a too well-kept secret. It took a cattle prod to get DBFS on the Web. Learn more about Dry Branch Fire Squad at their website.
Tickets for this concert are $22/advance, $25/day of show and can be purchased online, by calling (928) 779-2300, or at Arizona Music Pro in Flagstaff. FCP and FFOTM members receive a $2 discount.
