An Exhibition of Paintings, Drawings, and Prints by
Joella Jean Mahoney
 The exhibition will feature Mahoney’s well-known large landscapes and works on paper that include monoprints, figure studies, and the Figure in the Landscape series of oil paintings. Many of these works are exhibited for the first time.
Visitors will also see for the first time the great variety of images and techniques of art making used by Mahoney, in addition to her signature landscapes, to express her relationship to the landforms of the Southwest. "I paint every subject matter; I have just become known for the big landscape," she explains. "I was raised outdoors. My mother instilled us with the concept of nature as divinity."

Be the first to see the exhibition while enjoying live music and good food and drink. The artist will be on hand and lead a tour of the exhibition at 7pm.
The Development of Motif

Mahoney will present her slide show, The Development of Motif, during which she will explain how her various images are developed.
Oil Pastel Workshops with

The artist will conduct an oil pastel workshop from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. and again from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. for ages 12 to adult
