The Coconino Center for the Arts

Concerts at the CenterUnder the management of Flagstaff Cultural Partners, the Coconino Center for the Arts serves as the community’s cultural center. Located at 2300 N. Fort Valley Road in Flagstaff, the Center provides gallery space for rotating exhibitions and a 200-seat theater and performance space. See our calendar for a schedule of events.

In partnership with several local cultural organizations, the Center hosts concerts, art markets, festivals, fund raisers, workshops and other activities. Popular annual programs include the Recycled Art Exhibition (April), the Flagstaff Folk Music Festival (mid-June), and the It's Elemental craft exhibition (December). The Center also highlights youth performances from local schools and through the Youth Celebrate Art & Culture exhibition (March).

Coconino Center for the Arts GalleryRent the Center! The Center can be rented for private or community events including receptions, meetings, weddings, or shows. To schedule a tour of our facilities or inquire about pricing and availability, contact us.

ArtStart Youth Program

Youth Celebrate Art & Culture! This annual Spring exhibit of youth art features over 350 works from students K-12 and their art teachers. Workshops also take place throughout the community.

Teen ArtReach: FCP produces the artist-in-residence program at Project New Start, an alternative middle and high school program in FUSD, and for at-risk youth in the Coconino County Juvenile Detention Center. Photography, creative writing, ceramics, and mural programs are offered. The program provides these youth, often for the first time, with creative, safe means of self-expression and new ways to explore their creativity and connection to the community.

The Nonprofit Resource Center of Northern Arizona:  As a partner in the Nonprofit Resource Center we work with the Flagstaff Community Foundation, Arizona Community Foundation, the Flagstaff Public Library, Northern Arizona University, and many other community partners to provide workshops, classes, a monthly discussion series, a technical library, and other services to assist in building the capacity of nonprofits throughout northern Arizona.

Resource Directories: The Art and Science Organization Directory lists the art and science organizations in our community. We have also developed a Directory of Art Providers for Flagstaff Area Schools that lists artists and the programs they offer in schools and to youth groups. Call 928/779-2300 for more information.
