Flagstaff Cultural Partners

Greetings!

With the summer months now upon us, the arts scene in Flagstaff really begins to ramp up. At Heritage square, concerts, dance performances, and movies will be at full swing. Pine Mountain Amphitheater has a great slate of concerts on tap and the Arboretum is open and beautiful. And our big Flagstaff Festivals start to roll... Pride in the Pines, Flagstaff Folk Festival, Hopi Festival of Arts & Culture, to name just a few.

In short, THIS is the time to be in Flagstaff. There is so much activity, so many fun and engaging events, and the weather is just about perfect (okay, it's getting there).

Head on over to our community calendar for June happenings, and also check out the calendar for events at the Coconino Center for the Arts.

It's going to be a fabulous summer. We look forward to seeing you out there at this Friday's ArtWalk and all the other good-time events around town.

Cheers,

John Tannous "JT"
Executive Director

Gallery of the Month - Beaver Street Gallery

Beaver Street Gallery

Beaver Street Gallery is a Flagstaff gallery with big city feel.  Owners Barbara and David Harten bring an innovative and contemporary vision to Flagstaff, displaying work that is non-figurative and out of the ordinary.  David says that he displays work that is not focused on realism and he sometimes displays political work.  He also looks forward to seeing and displaying work with ideas that he has never seen or encountered before.  "I want to see art that makes me say, why didn't I think of that?"
