Two great theatrical events in June
ArcheDream for Humankind (ADHK) is a multi-disciplinary dance theatre that uses hand-painted masks & costumes to inspire and empower. Using dance, music, multimedia and visual arts, ADHK creates innovative performances and workshops that entertain and impact communities.

Dance Concerto XVII, an American Masterpiece Project featuring dances inspired by the artwork of Shonto Begay is coming June 5 & 6, 8:00 p.m. at the Coconino Center for the Arts Theater. Canyon Movement Company presents their 17th annual concert of new choreography, Dance Concerto XVII, in collaboration with Shonto Begay.

Artist Profile: John Waddell
John Henry Waddell's sculptures on display in the inFLUX exhibition show the depth of his dedication and love of dance through this broad body of work. Viewers who come to the exhibition will see six life-sized sculptures, 14 small and medium sized sculptures, and a dozen works on paper and canvas.

Gallery of the Month - Beaver Street Gallery Beaver Street Gallery is a Flagstaff gallery with big city feel. Owners Barbara and David Harten bring an innovative and contemporary vision to Flagstaff, displaying work that is non-figurative and out of the ordinary. David says that he displays work that is not focused on realism and he sometimes displays political work. He also looks forward to seeing and displaying work with ideas that he has never seen or encountered before. "I want to see art that makes me say, why didn't I think of that?"
